The Re-union?

Dedicated to the friends of the Re-union.

Dawning,

The “Day Star Arises[i]”,

In this the Springtime,

Of our lives.

A Jewel that passes,

The test of time,

Glistening, gleaming, glowing.

Mysterious,

In the East.

Relationships, made.

Broken, re-made.

Fragile.

Joy, pain.

Health, life.

Gifts.

Distant geography.

Journeys, gather.

Changed, different.

Yet the same.

The Trees laugh with us,

They were not there before.

Footnote No II (for Footnotes matter)

“And Solom0n made the curtain of blue and purple and crimson fabrics and fine linen and worked cherubim into it”.

When the curtain[ii] is drawn,

Friendship’s Jewel,

Breaks anew,

In our hearts.

“Words are all we have”[iii]. They matter.

Who built that?

Who planted that tree?

Where is the Cathedral in the city of our lives?

Today,

In this the Springtime

Of our lives,

Arising,

The Day Star dawns.

“And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands”[iv].
